Getting your teeth straightened has never been easier. Invisalign* can be an excellent treatment for patients who need minor adjustments and want a convenient, unobtrusive solution.
Who’s a Good Candidate for Invisalign?
Invisalign is designed for patients who have mild or moderate malocclusion. People often prefer this treatment to braces, which aren’t always aesthetically pleasing and can make it difficult to eat.
That said, patients with severe malocclusion will likely need braces. You may also need braces if you have additional oral health complications, like TMJ disorder, or you have certain dental restorations. Specifically, bridges and dental implants can both impact the movement provided by Invisalign
When you come to our office, we can examine your mouth to determine which treatment is the best fit for you.
What to Expect When Wearing Invisalign
Aligners are designed to gradually straighten teeth. This means you’ll receive a series of them: once one set of aligners have done their job, you’ll move on to the next step. In order to stay on schedule, it’s important to wear these aligners as much as possible.
Ideally, you will wear them at least 20-22 hours a day. People typically remove them in order to:
Eat
Brush and Floss
Give a Presentation
